In this special presentation for the CTA, photographers Yves Marchand and Romain Meffre joined us from Paris to discuss their ‘gigantic’ new book- a lavishly photographed survey of numerous American movie theaters which are fighting for survival. They discussed their experiences of making large-scale images of these vintage movie palaces, and the creation of the book itself, as well as highlighting many movie palaces featured in the book. A lively Q&A with the duo was followed by the regular Open Chat feature of online events.
